When i first joined HR, i had the same problem as well. People kept comparing my way of working with clement's way of working. And trust me, i had it even more difficult than what you are experiencing now because even one of the OGLT has challenged my way of working. It is always going to be like that: Typical of a human's behaviour, but it is something that you should and you WILL overcome as time goes by. You just need to be more confident out there, and as Johari and I have mentioned to you, you need to be more visible to your colleagues so that they will not be afraid to approach you. Go out there, be a mat kepoh once in a while, talk to them...

sometimes there are also things or favours that you can do for them...like assisting them to get something from HR even if they are supposed to call directly, to help them once in a while it is okay because in return they know they can count on you and maybe then they might open up to you or come to you if they are having any problems. As long as they dont panjat your kepala then it's all good!

Also, never be afraid to ask clement,azlina, johari and even kak roy even if you dont know something. they were the ones who helped me a lot in really understanding what i needed to do and what was expected of me. You will be capable of your job soon , Shereen...dont worry too much..it will be okay soon..
